His publications include Presidential Approval: A Source Book (1990), The Gallup Poll Cumulative Index: Public Opinion 1935-1997 (1999), and British Political Opinion 1937-2000: The Gallup Polls (2001). Frank Newport is editor-in-chief of the Gallup Poll. He is the author of Polling Matters: Why Leaders Must Listen to the Wisdom of the People and co-author of The Evangelical Voter.
