Ultimately, the book argues that China has sovereignty over the Nansha Islands and the surrounding waters, either on the basis of historical claims or modern realities.</div><div><br></div><div>In recent years, the Nansha disputes have attracted considerable attention. Far from being resolved, they have instead become even more heated. The only reasonable way to solve the problem, as argued here, is on the basis of relevant history and legislation.
